It's been nearly a month since Steven has been back home. People always say, "Things get easier.", but this hasn't. In fact, every time he goes home seems to be worse than the last.
His cousin, Adam, owns a landscaping business. He told Steven that he could work with him, when he got back home, for some money. Unfortunately, he only worked him ONE day. He got paid $60 for the hours he worked ($10 an hour). His whole family knew he wanted to come back here in August. And it just felt like... No one was helping him get back here. Surely Adam knew that Steven couldn't buy an airplane ticket with $60. Hell, he couldn't even buy a bus ticket with $60. And Steven would never ASK someone for money. He wants to work for it. And if he applied for a retail job or fast food job, they weren't going to want to hire someone for 2-3 weeks of work. So I was beginning to feel a bit hopeless and helpless.
So I decided to drain my bank account to buy his airplane ticket for him. My bank account is, currently, extremely low. But that's okay. I just wanted Steven to be here. And now he will be here. He comes back on August 1st. And, this time, he's supposed to be staying here for even longer than before. He's technically going to be living here with me. He wants to get a job, within the first week of being here, so he can start affording things. Plus, he wants to pay me back the money for the airplane ticket. As it was, he didn't want me to pay for his ticket. But if I didn't pay for it, he wouldn't have been back in August. And we already planned on him coming back in August. I didn't want to wait any longer than I needed to.
My LoveBug is growing up so fast! He'll be 21 years old in 16 days (July 27th)! I asked him what his favorite type of cake was. He likes White Cake with White Frosting. I told him when he comes back, I'm going to throw him a mini Birthday Celebration. Just the two of us, in my room. I have his Birthday Card and Birthday Present already. I put them both inside of a really cute Birthday Bag. I'm going to get him a small White Cake with White Frosting, put the numbers 2 and 1 on the cake, and sing Happy Birthday to him. Just something small, since he'll be here 5 days after his birthday. He told me he was looking forward to it.

When Steven comes back, we plan on getting married. We still need to get engaged first, though. But we'll be getting engaged AND married, at some point. It's just going to be a small court house wedding. But those fees alone are going to cost $142. Plus the cost of me getting a cheap, white dress. And for Steven to get a cheap, black or white suit. Even though it's just a court house wedding, I still want us to look like a bride and groom. I don't want to wear a tank top and pajama bottoms to my wedding. I've already purchased Steven's wedding ring. He's already seen it, and he loves it. His wedding ring was only $4. I even picked out my engagement ring and wedding set, too. They haven't been purchased, yet, but they will be. All together, they're going to be $14. Diamonds and Solid Gold are super expensive. Cubic Zirconia and Plated Gold are just as beautiful, at a fraction of the cost. And at least $14 isn't going to break anyone's bank accounts. Hell, a $142 wedding isn't going to break anyone's bank accounts. I'm doing things super cheap, because money isn't the reason why I want to marry Steven. I'm marrying Steven for love. And love shouldn't cost a fortune. The thought of me and Steven being married is... Pretty amazing. I'm looking forward to it.

I've also been going through my stuff and selling what I no longer need. I've been using the Mercari app for my unwanted belongings, as well as my handmade necklaces.
That being said, I'm also selling 13 of my Tatty Teddies! I'm keeping MOST of my Tatty Teddies. However, there were some that I just needed to get rid of. Like the 3 Tatty Teddies my ex-boyfriend got for me, the 1 Tatty Teddy my ex-boyfriend's mother got for me, and the Tatty Teddies that are U.K. related (England t-shirt, Union Jack flag, Union Jack sweater, etc. etc.). All of the U.K. related Tatty Teddies are RARE to find. So if I can sell those, that would be FANTASTIC.
I'm selling a few films, some handmade necklaces, some necklaces I didn't make, a Limited Edition American Horror Story fleece blanket, The Nightmare Before Christmas plush toys, a couple of handmade bookmarks, and a couple of rings. So it's a wide variety of items.
I've only been using the app for 2 weeks. I've only sold 3 items, in that time frame. I kind of wish more people would buy my stuff. I keep getting notifications that people have added my items to their "Favorites", but they don't like them enough to buy them. Which kind of sucks.
