On September 4th, Steven went back to the tattoo shop for his SECOND tattoo.  He wanted the Gucci designer logo tattooed on his opposite forearm.

The Gucci designer symbol (GG)!

The Gucci & Louis Vuitton designer symbols (GG & LV)!

While we were there, I decided to get Casper tattooed on my right forearm.

Casper

The shading around Casper has SIGNIFICANTLY faded.  Now it's a light gray shading, and not as thick around the areas.

I LOVE my Casper!

There is a slight fault around his left eye, though (The thick black line).  But that was NOT the fault of the tattoo artist.  The chair I was sitting in kind of collapsed.  The part that my legs were resting on, that is.  The part that is designed to go up or down, depending on the person's position.  And it fell, out of nowhere.  I wasn't putting pressure on it or anything.  And, well, yeah.  He had to correct the needle slip with a thicker black line.  But that wasn't either of our faults.  Accidents happen.  And he's STILL absolutely adorable!  I CONSTANTLY get compliments about him!

Our tattoos are all currently healed.  No more "bubbly" textures or itchy skin!  But these photos were taken on September 4th, when the tattoos were fresh and new.

Sometime within the next week, I plan to get a cartoon-like tattoo of Michael Myers, on my opposite forearm.  I just need to work out the fine details on that, though.  I already got a quote estimate of $120, plus the tip.  The place is a cash only shop.  Steven just finished paying me back for the airplane ticket, a couple of days ago, when he got his paycheck.  So I have $150 cash, at the moment, which will cover the entire cost.  I just need to schedule an appointment for it to be done.

There were a few issues with Steven's job.  People were constantly bailing on work.  They weren't calling in.  They weren't showing up.  NOTHING.  Which left Steven in a bad place, because he had to work 10x harder doing his job AND his co-workers' jobs.  He called into work ONE TIME to let them know that he'd be an hour late getting there.  The General Manager BLEW UP on him and basically said that she was going to take him off the schedule if he couldn't show up RIGHT THAT SECOND.  So he said, "Okay, then take me off the schedule." Whatever.  It's their loss.  He was the ONLY reliable and dependable employee.  Sure, keep all the employees that never show up and never do their jobs, but fire the employee that only called off ONCE and actually did his damn job.  His last paycheck is on October 9th.  I think it's only for a couple of days, so it'll be $100-something.

But, on the brighter side, Steven got a call from another place that was interested in him.  He went in for an interview with the Assistant General Manager on Monday and was called back by the General Manager on Tuesday.  Tonight, he has his Orientation for the job.  After his Orientation, he'll find out when he can start working.  I'm so happy for him and proud of him!
